The purpose of the assignment is to teach you how to access and use an Online Library, and prevent you from plagiarism throughout your program. To reach these objectives, follow the below steps and submit.


Step 1: Access an online library to retrieve, download, and read an article from a professional journal using the search term, “plagiarism and higher education.” Your selection of an article must be from a professional journal that is no older than 5 years and addresses American universities only. This assignment


Step 2: Write an essay on your article and divide it into the following sections and headings:


Article Information – Cite the article using current APA style as found in your Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association text. (Why? So that you can show your instructor that you have learned to properly cite an article in APA format.)


Summary – Develop a brief 1-page summary of the article in your own words. Do not copy and paste from the journal article as that is plagiarism. Simply provide a brief description in your own words of the topic under consideration in the article.


Reactions to Article In your own words (1 page), interact with the article. Appropriate comments for this part of the paper should include but are not limited to: your initial response to the article, your comments regarding the article, insights you gained from reading the article, and other thoughts you have that might further enhance the discussion of your article.
